The group includes Special Director General of Police (Law and Order) N.R.K. Reedy, Additional DGP (CID-Crime Branch) P.K. Singh, Inspector-General of Police (Jaipur Range) Hemant Priyadarshi and State Nodal Officer (Cow Vigilance) Mahendra Singh Chaudhary. 

DGP O.P. Galhotra said the group would investigate the claimed postponed reaction and other associated issues identified with Rakbar's murder. "The group of senior cops is as of now while in transit to Alwar. Fast and strict move will be made against the liable in light of the group's report," he said.
